Lip Filler
Hyaluronic Acid
Hyaluronic acid (HA) is naturally produced in our bodies. HA keeps skin flexible and hydrated. As we get older, so does our HA supply, which makes our skin loose elasticity. Dermal fillers are made of HA. Injecting dermal fillers in those spaces help firm up areas and reshape it. Lip Fillers are the most popular type of dermal filler.
What to expect
We will first apply a numbing cream to your lips for 20-30 minutes. Once your lips feel numb, we will make multiple injections of filler into the lips to give you the lips want. There may be some swelling, redness and bruising. These effects will subside after about 2 weeks.
The Lip Flip
Not quite ready for lip filler or just wanting a subtle change? The lip flip may be what you’re looking for. With the lip flip, neuromodulators (Botox, Dysport, Xeomin) are injected right above your lip which causes that muscle to relax and the lip to “flip.” This gives the illusion of a plumper lips without injecting filler.
